The Morgan Horse Club of Southern California was established to promote the Morgan breed, bring together all those interested in the breed and to maintain the standards of the breed.  The Club does this through the many activities held throughout the year and through the quarterly newsletter "The Crystal Chronicle".  The Club is closely affiliated with the American Morgan Horse Association and is a member of their Region VII.

The major activity of the Club is the annual Spring Classic Horse Show.  The 2011 show will be held at Casner Ranch showgrounds, 34520 De Portola Road in Temecula, CA, on May 20, 21 and 22.  Other activities include other horse shows for points, scheduled (and some not scheduled) rides throughout the southern California area and monthly meetings with the Board at Filippi's Pizza Grotto on 6th Street in Norco, CA.  The Club publishes an annual roster of members and their horses including e-mail addresses.

A Premium for the annual horse show is published in March of each year and includes the classes offered and show application forms.  The Premium is presented on this website and can be downloaded.  Hard copies can be requested by e-mailing Brenda Kalb at brendakalb@sbcglobal.net

The quarterly "Crystal Chronicle" is sent to all members.  It is very informative with articles on health, care and training your Morgan, as well as stories about members and their activities and lots of good old humor, including the antics of trailblazers, Thelma and Louise.

All Club publications include membership application forms and describe the classes of membership offered.  There is no requirement to own a Morgan horse to become a member.
